Dodgeball is Back!

Four Nights of Free Open Gym Dodgeball

Get back into your dodgeball groove with two weeks of Free Open Gym leading up to our 10-week Winter/Spring season.

Bring your friends and give em a taste of ERYC Dodgeball. We taste great!

COVID UPDATE:
LA City Parks has rescinded its vaccine mandate,
but mask-wearing is still encouraged.

Highland Park Rec Center – Wednesdays Feb 8 & 15 – 8pm

Oakwood Rec Center – Thursdays Feb 9 & 16 – 8pm

Registration for Winter/Spring season coming soon!

*Sorry Valley friends, North Hollywood is TBD ATM due to gym availability

    The Valley: Oct 11-Dec 6 Tuesdays @8-9:30 p.m.

Highland Park: Oct 12-Dec 7 Wednesdays @8-9:00 p.m.

Venice Beach: Oct 13-Dec 8 Thursdays @8-9:30 p.m.

Kids Dodgeball Returns!

It’s dodgeball, but you know, for kids

We’re hosting three nights of Kids Dodgeball at Valley Plaza Rec Center in North Hollywood and are looking for volunteers to help wrangle kids and make sure games run smoothly. Starting this Friday from 7:20-8:40 p.m.

Wet Hot Yacht Club Summer

Full seasons and full teams. LFG!

A few important things to keep in mind:

  • Sign up and we will place you on a team, just like in the before times

  • You will need to show proof of vaccination (both when you register and day of)

  • Masks are still required during game play

  • Register before July 5th to get the early bird price

  • Spots are limited. If you can’t commit for the full season, there will be the opportunities to register as a sub if spots are available the day of. Check in with your league ambassadors!

     

Of course, if you’re up for it, plan on grabbing drinks with your teamies at your neighborhood watering hole after the games.

North Hollywood: July 12-Sept 13 Tuesdays @8-9:30 p.m.

Highland Park: July 13-Sept 14 Wednesdays @7:30-9:00 p.m.

Venice Beach: July 14-Sept 15 Thursdays @8-9:30 p.m.

Dodge Back Better

Yacht Club dodgeball is back, babies!

Over the next few months we’re hosting open-gym-style dodgeball in Venice Beach, North Hollywood, and Highland Park.

Pick your days and register!

A few important things to keep in mind:

  • You must register for each night you will play
  • You will need to show proof of vaccination (both when you register and day of)
  • Masks are required during game play
  • Spots are limited, so please only register for days you know you can make. We want to give as many people as possible the chance to get a little taste of ERYC
  • First three weeks are free (bc we heart you)
Of course if you’re up for it, we’re grabbing drinks after at your neighborhood watering hole and pretending like nothing ever happened. Maybe crying a little afterwards tbh.

      • Highland Park: March 30-May 4 Wednesdays @8 p.m.

Sunday Fundays

Cap of your boozy-brunchy Sunday Fundays with Eagle Rock Yacht Club.  A great way to get a taste of Yacht Club dodgeball ahead of the new season.  It’s free for first timers and you get two bites of the apple before Fall Dodgeball starts.  Glassell Park Rec Center 3:30-5pm.  Check our Facebook events page for more details.

Salute Your Shirts

We’re always happy to help our home rec centers.  So when we heard the trumpet call from Oakwood Rec Summer Camp,  we packed in our screen-printing press and made sure all our happy campers looked sharp and stayed cool.

New Year, New You, Old West

Our Wild West-inspired winter season hits the trail the week of January 22nd.  Sign up soon to avoid a late registration fee putting a hitch in your giddy up.

We’ve got dodgeball for you in every direction (North Hollywood, Westwood, Venice, Highland Park and San Diego) but before leagues start the early action is, appropriately, out west

Apple Picking – Nov. 17th – 8:30AM

Yep, that’s right, we’re going apple picking! Grab your seat on the bus to Los Rios Rancho Apple Farm in Yucapia, CA. Nov. 17th will be a fun day of Apple picking, hard cider tasting, cider pressing, nature trail walking, live music listening, animal petting, wagon/tractor riding, horse backing, corn mazing, farm tours and more!

*Please note this is a 12 hour day. We are asking that you arrive at Union Station by 8:30 a.m. We will leave the apple farm just after Sunset (around 6 p.m.), and arrive back at union station
