We’re here with community before competition more than ever

Hey everyone,

The past week has been incredibly challenging for many across LA, with wildfires causing significant disruption and loss. We know that many of you have already stepped up—donating, volunteering, and supporting however you can. We see that, and as fellow Angelenos, it means a lot to know we’re surrounded by people who are stepping up for each other.

As ERYC, we’re organizing a collective effort to help those affected. If you need assistance, know someone who does, or want to get involved, please fill out our Fire Support Survey so we can coordinate and make the biggest impact together.

Take the survey.

With winds picking up again this week, fire conditions may stay unpredictable. Stay safe, keep an eye on local updates, and look out for each other. If you need a break, we’ll have the gym open this week for some casual games and good company—come hang, throw the ball around, and unwind. No need to register, just come by.

      • Wednesday (1/15) – Highland Park Rec (8–10 PM)
          • Drop in at either the 8 or 9 PM hour.
      • Thursday (1/16) – Oakwood Rec Venice (8–9 PM)

If dodgeball sounds like the kind of fun and escape you could use right now, registration is still open—come play with us this season. And if cost is a barrier, we’ve set aside a handful of discounted spots to make it easier to jump in. No stress, just dodgeball.

See you soon,

Chris, Rob, and the ERYC Team

Roll with our ERYC Cycle for Survival team again this year to raise money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

We’ll be riding at Equinox West LA on Saturday, February 24th from 1pm-5pm. There’s no cycling experience required to participate — you can spend as much or as little time on a bike as you like. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still join our team and help us fundraise!

100% of every dollar we raise together will fund groundbreaking research and lifesaving clinical trials at MSK, a world leader in cancer research, care and education.

Here’s how to register for our team:

Registration Instructions:

1. Go to our team page: http://mskcc.convio.net/goto/EagleRockYachtClub

2. Click “Join Our Team”

3. Enter the case-sensitive team password to join: commongood

4. Follow the prompts to complete your registration

5. Make a kickoff gift to inspire donors to match your generosity!

If you can, please also consider making a tax-deductible donation. Your gift will make a real difference for everyone impacted by a rare cancer.
