We Love Angelenos

Our city is once again facing a challenging time, and our community could use all the support it can get. This Wednesday (June 18), we’ll be collecting donations on behalf of the Boyle Heights YMCA to support families being directly impacted by the current crisis and military actions in our city.

Let’s show up for the common good and our community.

If you’re playing with us this season, just bring what you can to Highland Park Rec between 8–10 PM. If you know others who’d like to support, feel free to pass along this email.

Wednesday (6/18) – Highland Park Rec (8–10 PM)

Common Good for our Community

Each Yacht Club season usually comes with a little something—a small gift from us to you. But this past winter, we flipped the script. Inspired by our love for L.A., we decided to give a few gifts from all of us to the city we call home.

We donated this season’s gift budget (plus a little extra) to causes close to our hearts. So yeah… you’ll have to wait a bit longer for those Yacht Club–branded tighty-whiteys. Worth it.

  • Venice players raised $300 for Direct Relief through Valentine’s Candy Grams, so we matched it—and then some—with an additional $500 donation.
  • Highland Park showed up huge with weekly food donations for the Eaton Fire Food Pantry at the Crowley Family YMCA. We followed your lead and gave $1,000 to help re-stock the shelves.
  • We also gave $500 to the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, supporting immigrant workers impacted by the fire, and $500 to the Barrett Family of Altadena.

We love ya—like we love L.A.

Roll with our ERYC Cycle for Survival team again this year to raise money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

We’ll be riding at Equinox West LA on Saturday, February 24th from 1pm-5pm. There’s no cycling experience required to participate — you can spend as much or as little time on a bike as you like. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still join our team and help us fundraise!

100% of every dollar we raise together will fund groundbreaking research and lifesaving clinical trials at MSK, a world leader in cancer research, care and education.

Here’s how to register for our team:

Registration Instructions:
