We’re taking it back in time for a special movie night at one of the last family-run, single-screen cinemas in Los Angeles. We’re hosting this at Gardena Cinema, run by Judy Kim, whose family has cared for the theater since the 1970s. It’s a true neighborhood landmark that’s still here because people keep showing up. Join your fellow cave people for an afternoon screening, popcorn, and hanging out off the court. No throwing required. Just vibes, snacks, and a shared big-screen experience that’s getting harder to come by.
🎬 Screening: Jurassic Park (1993), Hold onto your butts.
⏱️ Runtime: 2h 2m
🅿️ Free parking on site
🍿 Concessions available
Friends and partners are very welcome. Come as you are. Dino costumes welcome but not required. 🦖🍿
Curious about dodgeball? Thinking about joining but not sure what to expect? Our Open Dodgeball Night is the perfect, no-pressure way to get a feel for the game, meet some friendly faces, and confirm that, yes, dodgeball is still as fun as you remember from elementary school. No teams, no commitments—just a bunch of people throwing rubber balls at each other for fun.
Already part of the ERYC crew? Tell your friends, lovers, or that one coworker who thinks they’d be “weirdly good at dodgeball” to come check it out before the season kicks-off.
Join up with a gang of your favorite Yacht Clubers at the Altadena Forever Run – the inaugural community 10K/5K/1K celebrating Altadena’s resilience, recovery, and spirit following the Eaton Fire. It’s a chance for residents, partners, and supporters to come together in strength and solidarity — Altadena forever strong.
Make sure to choose the group RUN ERYC to get looped into our shenanigans.
Shake off the winter chill and dive into our Winter Dodgeball Season, 10 fun-filled-weeks guaranteed to keep you running like a reindeer, jolly AF, and working off those extra holiday cookies.

Our city is once again facing a challenging time, and our community could use all the support it can get. This Wednesday (June 18), we’ll be collecting donations on behalf of the Boyle Heights YMCA to support families being directly impacted by the current crisis and military actions in our city.

Let’s show up for the common good and our community.
If you’re playing with us this season, just bring what you can to Highland Park Rec between 8–10 PM. If you know others who’d like to support, feel free to pass along this email.
Wednesday (6/18) – Highland Park Rec (8–10 PM)

Each Yacht Club season usually comes with a little something—a small gift from us to you. But this past winter, we flipped the script. Inspired by our love for L.A., we decided to give a few gifts from all of us to the city we call home.
We donated this season’s gift budget (plus a little extra) to causes close to our hearts. So yeah… you’ll have to wait a bit longer for those Yacht Club–branded tighty-whiteys. Worth it.
We love ya—like we love L.A.

Join us for an Open House Dodgeball Night at Oakwood Rec Center in Venice! This free, no-pressure event is the perfect way to meet new people, learn the ropes, and experience the fun of dodgeball.
